How to open picture in picture(pip) mode in YouTube in MacOS

Picture-in-picture (PiP) is a feature has been existing from 1976[1]. Back then this feature was far more expensive and it is not available for consumer.

Lucky for us in 2022, we can use PiP mode in Android, Windows, MacOS and IOS! Pip is a great way to multitask while working or studying.

Enable pip mode in MacOS

It is as simple as press ctrl and click twice/ double right click then you can enable the pip mode with multitasking!

Step 1:

Open YouTube and search for any video. For example, “Introduction to Google Cloud Backup and DR”.

Step 2:

Double right click the video and you may view the options “Enter Picture in Picture”. Click it and enjoy PIP mode while studying or working!
